  2. Hello Shaishav Sir,
I am not really sure if you remember me... I was at Menon classes and was a part of the lucky batch where you taught English...

Actually, I have been following your blog updates regularly but did not comment because I was not sure if you remember me...

Hmmm…. A testimonial…. Well, I remember you as this encouraging, motivating, always lively, cheerful and a straight – forward teacher who used to put in all the efforts to make English so interesting and easy.

For me... The learning experience was not only learning English but much beyond that... You taught how to have this positive attitude while giving exams and even before and after that... I used to eagerly look forward for your lectures because every lecture had something new to learn not only academically but in the general sense… You taught to see things with a different perspective – an optimistic approach... English was one of my favourite subjects but I learnt it in a very unique way in 10th std. And this learning was “Knowledge + fun”. All thanks to you…
You had this very different aura in you as a teacher and as a motivator... Well, yes, you used to motivate people a lot and I am sure you do that even now ... You had your special way of teaching… And we learnt English in a different way … From talking on the spot about all the people in the class to know how much we know about each person to talking extempore about a topic for 1 min to have a command over the language… Your homework was very simple – to make sentences from those words that you used to give… Well, simple but had deep effect in knowing the mistakes made… And talking about mistakes, I remember how you used to correct the smallest of our mistakes and pronunciations which probably one would not have noticed and which is quite normal in daily usage… But, still, you taught the proper usage – the perfect usage… (You know what… I don’t think I still have got the correct pronunciation of “Parents”!! You had made each and everyone in the class to pronounce “Parents” and I don’t remember anyone getting it right…!! And also you had corrected us by saying that the word “Expired” is used only for medicines and not human beings… I remember these and make sure not to repeat these mistakes…) Mistakes that normally went unnoticed were being corrected by you…How you used to encourage everyone to talk English – no matter what the mistakes… Do you remember those lectures where you made us discover ourselves – the type of person we are(introvert, extrovert etc. ) and another one about the type of liars? Truly, these extra activities were as helpful as the study – based ones… !

Well, all that I can say is that you are one of the best English teachers …

Thank You Sir for all the knowledge… I will always cherish it…

All The Best for your Step By Step Academy… I wish you all the success Sir...

    Regards,
    Pooja Vaidyanathan.
